Passion Fruit - Purple

Passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) is a plant species in the genus Passiflora, originally from South America. It is a fast-growing, climbing vine that produces small, round or oval fruits with smooth purple or yellow skin that wrinkles when ripe. The fruit is significantly smaller than other tropical fruits, with a gelatinous, seed-filled, aromatic, yellow-orange pulp that has a sweet-tart flavor. Weighing 50–150 g, it is rich in vitamins A and C, fiber, and antioxidants.
